Asian Journey Treks Company regularly orginizes trek to the Himalayan Kingdom of Mustang targeting TIJI or teechi festival a three days long ritual known as" The chasing of the Demons", one of the most important festival of the region. Over the festive time monks dressed in elaborate costumes and masks perform dances and rituals that are supposed to drive away evil spirits. Dressed in their finery, people from all over Mustang gather in Lo Monthang to celebrate the Tiji festival.

Itinerary in Details

Day 01 or May 09,: Your arrival at the Tribhuwan International Airport(TIA) and you will be meet our airport representative then transfer to hotel. Overnight at Hotel.

Day 02 Or May 10: Full day guided sightseeing around Kathmandu city. Overnight at Hotel.

Day 03 Or May 11: Take Tourist bus from Kathmandu (1315m) to Pokhara (915m), 6 hours. Overnight at Hotel.

Day 04 Or May 12: Fly from Pokhara to Jomsom (2720m), 30 minuets and walk to to Kagbeni (2800m)). 2 hours. Overnight at Camp.

Day 05 Or May 13: Walk from Kagbeni (2800m) to Chaile (3030m), 5-6 hrs. Overnight at Camp.

Day 06 Or May 14: Walk from Chaile to Geling (3440m,), 6-7 hrs. Overnight at Camp.

Day 07 Or May 15: Walk from Geling (3440m) to Charang /Tsarang (3490m), 6-7 hrs. Overnight at Camp.

Day 08 Or May 16: Walk from Tsarang (3560m) to Lo Manthang (3730m), 4-5 hrs. Overnight at Camp.

Day 09 Or May 17: Starts Tiji Festival explore around Lo Manthang (3730m). Overnight at Camp.

Day 10 Or May 18: Enjoy Tiji Festival, explore around Lo Manthang (3730m). Overnight at Camp.

Day 11 Or May 19: Ends Tiji festival, explore around Lo Manthang (3730m). Overnight at Camp.

Day 12 Or May 20: Walk from Lo Manthang (3730) to Ghami (3460m), 6-7 hrs. Overnight at Camp.

Day 13 Or May 21: Walk from Ghami (3460m) to Samar (3290m), 5-6 hrs. Overnight at Camp.

Day 14 Or May 22: Walk from Samar (3290m) to Kagbeni (2800m), 6-7 hrs. Overnight at Camp.

Day 15 Or May 23: Walk from Kagbeni (2800m) to Jomsom (2720m), 3-4 hrs. Overnight at Camp.

Day 16 Or May 24: Fly back from Jomsom to Pokhara and transfer to hotel, Overnight at Hotel.

Day 17 Or May 25: Take a tourist bus from Pokhara to Kathmandu and transfer to Hotel. Overnight at Hotel.

Day 18 Or May 26: Transfer to international airport for your final departure.

The price includes following services:

• Airport Pick up and drop off service by Private Coach..
• 3 nights accommodation with breakfast at 2-3 star hotel in Kathmandu.
• 2 nights accommodation in Pokhara (inclusive of Government taxes and breakfast.
• Guided city tour in Kathmandu valley as per above program.
• An experience Guide (trained by Ministry of tourism), required number of porters, their food, accommodation, salary, insurance, equipments.
• Surface Transfer to and from Kathmandu by private car / Mini van / Mini Bus.
• Full board meal (veg. / non veg.) prepared by our expert cook.
• Trekking equipment (two men tent, dining tent, kitchen tent, Table with chairs, kitchen utensils, Down sleeping bag / Jackets, walking sticks, and other necessary equipments during the trek).
• Twin sharing accommodation on tents during the trek.
• Special Trekking Permit US$ 500 per person for 10 days (the above price includes 10 days valid trekking permit from Kagbeni to Kagbeni. If you would wish to stay more than 10 days in restricted area, you are subjected to extra charge for extra days (US$ 70 per day / per person).

The Price doesn't Includes following services:

• Any meals in Kathmandu and Pokhara other than breakfast.
• Travel Insurance.(Your insurance should coverage personal accidents, medical expenses, helicopter evacuation for emergency)
• Nepal Tourist Visa fee US$ 25 or equivalent foreign currency with multiple entry for 15 days, US$ 40 or equivalent foreign currency with multiple entry for 30 days.You may easily issue the visa upon your arrival at Tribhuwan International Airport - Kathmandu.
• Items of a personal nature.
• Any kind of alcoholic drinks, cold drinks, laundry, phone call, internet.
• Trekking Equipments (down sleeping bag and down jackets are available to hire or buy in Kathmandu, which would cost approximately US$ 1 per day per item to hire and US$ 60 to US$ 100 per item to buy).
• Tips for guide, porters, driver
