Here are my comments:
1. Nepal people is nice people.
2. trekking is unforgetable experience: the things most impressed me
are nice guide ( Lal), wounderful mountain and farm view, and up &
down tract. The guest house is simple but clean.
3. the arrangement of this trekking is good for first time visitor.
4. After home, I had started to plan the next trekking. I will go to
EBC via the same agent and hire the same guide. I will call my friend
and trek with me. I will organize a small team to finish this target.
5. Becasue poor appetite after climbing, I had no special impression
in food. the Only thing I like is coke. water is a problem in
trekking.
6. The most important is Suman, he was so nice and patient and could
answer my any question before trekking. Before trekking, every body
inculding me worried about many things. But had suman, there is
nothing to worry. My friend ask me why I had encourge to trekking
alone. I say I had best consultor and a Nepal-Taiwan friend--Suman.
Anyway, I will back to Nepal ( may be 2013). I love this country.

For this visit in Nepal we were five people of different ages who wanted to have a feel for the beautiful Himalayas as well as do the more touristic trips around Kathmandu.

I am Roman Marks (from USA) and I am close to be 70 years old! I signed up with Asian Journey for a trip of my life! I selected them using a web search. They had the most attractive offer for the money and were very accommodating in creating my schedule. In 23 days I crammed Everest Base Camp, Kala Patar, Island Peak (6,189 meters), white water Rafting and Chitwan National Park and I prayed to accomplish some and return home alive and unhurt. The trip and the company beat all my expectations!!!
First and foremost was my guide - Babu Gurung. He was smart, resoursfull, helpful, attentive and a real friend. Only because of him I was able to make all I dreamed for. When I had symptoms of altitude sickness, he helped me to cope with it, helped me with my loss of appetite, head aches, loss of sleep, he even had medicine for my stomach problems. He designed the training for HAS measured to my abilities and gave me plenty of rest and entertainment beating me in all the card games I tought him how to play. When I was coming back from summiting Island Peak (1200 m up and 1400 m down in 16 hours), he met me on the way back with 2 liters of hot chocolate. This touched me to tears. When my camera gave out, he gave me his camera to use. His care and attention can't be measured in words!
In a competitive price from Asian Journeys I got a fantastic 23 days trip, with guide that became my friend, porter that carried my load, everything was taken care of food, transportation, lodging. All I had to do is move, enjoy the surroundings, and people I met on the trial and in the hotels.

Thank you so much for providing us with a knowledgable guide, who was kind and caring and wanted us to get the very most from our experience. Our guide was also very thoughtful about which Tea Houses he choose for us, choosing only the best ones. His english was very good and he taught us many things about Nepal, the people and about our trek.
Our porters, Binod and Buzee were very polite and kind. They were a very important part of our trekking team. We appreciated their kindness and their strength. They also contributed to making our experience so wonderful!! It was so great to get to know them and to see their hearts! They were very good people!

First of all, thank you so much for all the organizing you did on our behalf! The entire trip went off without a hitch because of all the planning that had been done beforehand, it was wonderful! We were SO well taken care of and it was amazing!
The food was awesome and we loved it! We were amazed by the variety that was available, even all the way up to Gorek Shep!
Our guide, Pratap really became our friend and we loved how he incorporated a bit of cultural information into each day's hike as well as stopping to show us different kinds of birds, trees, markings etc. along the way. He was fabulous and we enjoyed his company very much! Along with that I must say that our two porters were amazing!! We appreciated them so much and even more so because I got high altitude sickness and had to come back down with Binod, one of our porters. As an all-ladies group, we felt very safe and well taken care of throughout the entire trip, never once feared for our safety in any way!
After our trip to Base Camp we added on a river rafting trip as well as a 3 day Chitwan Jungle tour. Both were wonderful and we really enjoyed the opportunity to experience Nepal in a different way than just trekking! All of our tea houses and hotels were clean and the people were so friendly.
All in all, I speak for all of the ladies in the group when I say that this was an amazing trip and your company provided top-notch service for us which we really apprecited! We have told everyone we know about you and passed along your e-mail and contect info. If we decide to come back (which we might some day), we will be looking you up again to plan our trip for us!

We are a group of 5 young people who travelled to Nepal in April 2010 for 10 days. We would like to express our gratitude and appreciation to Surya, the citywalk tour guide Gyan, the trekking guide Babu and his teammates Bhim, Lal and Teeka!! We enjoy our stay in Nepal and have a safe journey because of you guys.
Surya was the coordinator throughout our trip. He took care of us from the beginning until the end of our trip: he met us every day during our trip at Kathmandu, explained the details of the itinerary to us, made sure we caught our bus and plane on time and valued our feeling and comments towards the trip. Most importantly, thanks to his generous help, we celebrated my friend's birthday with a nice birthday cake and dinner on our last day at Kathmandu. I am sure this is one of my friend's memorable birthdays in her life. Thank you very much Surya! You make our trip so smooth!
We spent 5 days trekking to Poon Hill with Babu, Bhim, Lal and Teeka. They are all experienced guide and porters, who led us finished our mission! And they sang and danced very well! Babu took care of us all the times, he always reminded us to walk slowly, took a break and drank more water whenever we felt like to, and he served us well during meal time. I was sick for 1 day during the trek because of not getting used to the food there, Babu offered to carry my own bag and they all gave me encouragement. The 4-hour trek ended up to be an 8-hour trek because of me. It was the hardest day in my life honestly, but it was an unforgettable and precious memory to me! Plus, they are all very smart in learning how to play the Hong Kong-style card games! The gain of our friendship is the bonus to us!
Gyan was our tour guide in Kathmandu and Patan. He is a teacher and he taught us a lot about the history of Buddhist and Hindu Temples. Thank you very much to your sharings. We brought back a lot of knowledge from you to Hong Kong!
All in all, we are very satisfied with the package services offered to your company. I will definitely recommend you to my friends!

We had the most incredible and memorable experience on the EBC trek and thanks to Asian Journey Treks and Tours who made our trip possible. This is the second time that we use its service. Last time it was in 2005, when a group of six of us went to ABC. This time four of us went to a longer and higher trek to our ultimate destination, EBC and Kala Patthar in a cold mid February weather. Our guide Hari is very experienced who has been trekking to EBC 40 times. He told us about the culture, the mountains, the people along the way so we get to know Nepal even better. To ensure our safety and comfort, we each have one sherpa trekking with us. They all can speak English and have average 25 times EBC trekking experience. The two porters can also speak some English and also have been to EBC many times. All seven of them can even say some Chinese and that really impressed me. When we were coming down the mountain, they would say "take it easy" and "walk slowly" and "be careful of the rock and ice", all in English and Chinese. Although, three out of the four of us have been to Kilimanjaro before, we still ran into situations that were unexpected and in some ways dangerous. Two members suffered high altitude sickness and one has to be rushed down the mountain on a horse. Hari quickly found an experienced horse, went with my team member and a porter down the mountain when it was dark and cold. Although Hari was not there, his crew was very professional and the porters and sherpas were assisting us as if Hari was still there. The last two days coming down from Debuche to Namche, I had stomach infection (turned out to be gastric ulcer) and had to take the horse down. They also found a very calm horse to take me down and two sherpas came with me and try to support me from either side of the horse especially when we were coming down the steps. When I was back in Kathmandu, the service consultant of Asian Journey even accompanied me to the hospital to cure my stomach problem. Our service consultant knows how much we like fruits for people from Taiwan and how scarce resources are in the mountain, he arranged for the porters to bring oranges and apples to the mountain so that we have fruits every night after meals. I always remember the cheerful sound we made when the fruits were brought over peeled, sliced and seeds removed. My second time experience with Asian Journey is even better than my first time experience. It is not just their experience, their knowledge, their professional attitude, their friendliness, their attention to details, their English or their energy level, it is all of these combined. I know if we come to Nepal trekking or touring again, I will definitely work with them again.
