Mt. Everest View Trekking is designed for those with less time who never the less want a view of Everest. It provides a good insight into Sherpa culture without the struggle of high altitude trekking. Our destination is the village of Tengboche with its famous monastery where we have time to soak up the atmosphere along with some tremendous views of the very beautiful mountain Ama Dablam. returning to Lukla and a flight back to Kathmandu.

Itinerary:

Day 01 : Your arrival at the Tribhuwan International Airport(TIA) and you will be meet our airport representative then transfer to hotel. Overnight at Hotel.
Day 02: Sightseeing in Kathmandu Valley. Overnight at Hotel.
Day 03: Fly Kathmandu to Lukla and start walking to Phakding 2610m, 3 hours. Overnight at Guest House.
Day 04: Walk from Phakding to Namche Bazaar 3440m, 5 hours. Overnight at Guest House.

Day 05: Acclimatization in Namche (3440),
Today you will hike to Syanbgboche ( Everest View Hotel), observe Mt. Everest, Lhotse, Thamserku, Amadablam and other soaring mountains closely with hot tea, coffee or lemon tea. After few hours breaks at Everest View Hotel retrace back to Namche Bazaar. Rest of time exploration of Namche ( the main market of Khumbu Region).Overnight at Guest House.

Day 06: Walk from Namche to Khumjung (3790m), 3 hrs. Overnight at Guest House.
Day 07: Walk from Khumjung to Tengboche (3860m), 5 hrs. Overnight at Guest House.
Day 08: Exploration day in Tengboche. Overnight at Guest House.
Day 09: Walk back from Tengboche to Manjo (3440m), 5 hrs. Overnight at Guest House.
Day 10: Walk from Manjo to Lukla (2840m), 4 hrs. Overnight at Guest House.
Day 11: Fly from Lukla to Kathmandu, 30 minutes and transfer to Hotel.Overnight at Hotel.
Day 12: Fly from Kathmandu to Lhasa and transfer to Hotel. Overnight at Hotel.

Day 13: Sightseeing in Lhasa. Overnight at Hotel.
Guided sightseeing tour of Potala, the winter palace of the Dalai Lama; Drepung, the biggest monastic university of Tibet & Nechung Monastery, temple of the State oracle of Tibet.

Day 14: Sightseeing in Lhasa. Overnight at Hotel.
Guided sightseeing tour of Jokhang, the central cathedral of Tibet, Barkhor, the bustling Lhasa market encircling the Jokhang Temple, Tibetan Medical Center & Norbulinka Palace.

Day 15 : Drive from Lhasa to Gyangtse (3990 meters). Overnight at Hotel.
Drive via Yamdrok, the Turquoise Lake to Gyangtse across Kampa la pass 5050 m & Karo la (5045 m)passes. Visit Kubum stupa & Pelkor Chode Monastery.

Day 16 : Drive from Gyangtse to Shigatse ( 3660 meters). Overnight at Hotel.
Drive to Shigatse. En route visit Shalu Monastery. Visit Tashilhunpo Monastery, the seat of Panchen Lama who is the 2nd in the Buddhist religious hierachy & Shigatse Market.

Day 17 : Drive from Shigatse to Shegar/Tingri ( 4350 meters). Overnight at Hotel.
Drive to Shegar across Tsoula pass (4500 M) & Gyatso la pass (5220 M). En route visit Sakya Monastery.

Day 18 :  Drive from  Shegar to Rongbuk ( 5050 meters). Overnight at Hotel. Overnight at Hotel.
Drive via Pangla pass (5200 M) to Rongbuk Monastery, world's highest monastery situated at 5200 M. O/N Rongbuk Guest House.

Day 19 : Hike or Drive from Rongbuk to Everest Base Camp ( North side) and return to Rongbuk. Overnight at Hotel.
We have the option to hike or drive to Everest Base Camp. Rongbuk Guest House.

Day 20 : Drive from Rongbuk to Nylam. Overnight at Hotel.
After watching sunrise over Everest, we drive on to Nylam. Nylam Guest House.

Day 21 : Drive from Nyalam to Kathmandu. Overnight at Hotel.
Walk across Friendship Bridge & transfer to Kathmandu.

Day 22:Transfer from Hotel to Airport and Fly back to home.
