Kathmandu Valley the cultural and commercial hub of Nepal contains three fabled cities - Kathmandu, Patan and Bhaktapur. Each has an artistic exposition of graceful temples, elegant palaces, brick-paved courtyards and quaint streets. The Kathmandu valley profound religious culture based on a unique amalgamation of Hinduism and Buddhism is very interesting. Multi roofed temples, exquisite monasteries, stone carvings and wooden carvings, and the age-old traditions and religious festivals have kept Kathmandu valley with immense vivacity till today. The Kathmandu valley holds a considerably high number of places recognized by UNESCO as World Heritage Sites. There are all together ten World Heritage Sites in Nepal, out of them seven of which are in Kathmandu itself -those are mention below respectively. You will visit following places on your trip.
 
Itinerary:
Day 01:  Arrival in Kathmandu Airport and transfer to Hotel Buddha ( The hotel is located in Thamel main touristy area). Free excursion around Thamel.Overnight at Hotel Buddha
Day 02: Full day City tour of Kathmandu Durbar Square, Swayambhunath Temple, Pashupatinath Temple and Bouddhanath Stupa.

Morning sightseeing of Kathmandu. The Kathmandu Valley has an exotic setting. It is surrounded by a tier of green mountain wall above which tower mighty snow-capped peaks. The history of the Valley, according to the legends, begins with Swayambhu, or the "the self existent". Later sightseeing Pashupatinath and Boudha. The Pashupati is the holiest Hindu pilgrimage destination in Nepal. There are linga images of Shiva along with statues, shrines and temples dedicated to other deities in the complex. Bouddhanath is among the largest stupas in South Asia, & it has become the focal point of Tibetian Buddhism in Nepal. The white mound looms 36 meters overhead. Later sightseeing of Patan, an ancient city situated on the southern bank of the river Bagmati & is about 5 kms southeast of Kathmandu. The city is full of Budhist monuments & Hindu temples with fine bronze gateways, guardian deities and wonderful carvings.

Day 03: Full day City tour of Patan Durbar Square & Bhaktapur Durbar Square.

Kathmandu - Morning sightseeing of Patan. An ancient city situated on the southern bank of the river Bagmati & is about 5 km southeast of Kathmandu. The city is full of Budhist monuments & Hindu temples with fine bronze gateways, guardian deities and wonderful carvings. Later sightseeing of Bhaktapur. Bhaktapur means-the city of devotees, in the Sanskrit language. It is also known as Bhadgaon. The palace complex in the middle of the city potrays the prosperity of the Malla years and the details at which the craftspeople then worked. The palace of fifty-five windows stands in the square and it was home to many kings of Bhaktapur. It is perhaps the most popular of the 3 Newar towns of the Kathmandu Valley. Rest of the day at leisure.
